Nothing was ever too much trouble

We have absolutely no hesitation recommending Mike and the team at MJ Harris Painting.

After completing a significant internal renovation, we engaged MJ Harris in February 2013 to paint the exterior our 1973 recycled brick and timber home in Eltham (gutter fascias, external doors, window frames, timber beams, pergola posts, downpipes, garage door and meter box). All the woodwork had previously been stained (and sadly not maintained), so there was a significant amount of prep work involved. We took progressive photos of the transformation, and as we look back at the images we are still so amazed at just how easy they made it all look.

Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they only used the best quality stain blockers and paints. Scott, Brendan, Brooke and the rest of the team were all genuinely lovely people who look out for each other and clearly enjoy each others company. The quality of their work was outstanding.

We were also impressed with Mikes attention to detail. He visited our job each morning and afternoon checking in on everyone and offering practical solutions along the way he even had his carpenter come out at short notice to help problem solve some issues we had with gaps around window frames — months before, wed previously caulked all the gaps but hadnt realised the caulking wasnt paintable. The caulking was highly visible and wed never been happy with the aesthetics, so Mikes team meticulously cut out excess parts of the caulking to enable his carpenter to fit quad over the top. We are so happy with the outcome, it looks amazing.

We hope to have Mikes team back out to paint our internal exposed beam and pine line ceilings soon
